Overview |
CMCDI is an investment company traded on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The Company specializes in investing in China. Its investment objective is to acquire quality investments, principally in unlisted enterprises, in China. The Company may also invest not more than US$10 million in hi-tech projects including through initial public offerings and/or pre-listing placements; and not more than 10 percent of its Net Asset Value in China-concept shares, "H" shares, "B" shares and any shares listed in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region provided that the main businesses or incomes of such companies are derived from the People's Republic of China including the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
With an initial capital of US$100 million, the Company started its operation in 1993. To date, it has developed and acquired a number of diversified interests in the sectors of financial services, manufacturing, real estate and others.
